The person who helped us with our rental tried to pressure us into an upgrade and also into buying the insurance even though we were covered already through our own insurance, and we also already declined it when making the online reservation. I contacted Dollar to ensure the reservation would accommodate 6 people, they said yes. When I went to pick up the vehicle I was told it would only be a midsize and would not accommodate 6 people Also, was told Dollar does not observe "spouses are included as drivers on the rental" and I would have to pay an additional driver fee for my spouse to be permitted to drive.
Service was excellent - really went out of my way to help. I priced cars directly from the rental car sites, and Kayak definitely provided a better price for the type of vehicle I wanted to rent.
The price for rental cars this summer is ridiculous but the service and ease of Dollar Rental at Seattle SeaTac Airport was excellent! Everything was great! Except I feel price wise, rental cars are getting to expensive. I was a little taken aback on how much money I left there. We booked using kayak link to vip cars. Vipcars precharged me a portion of the rental. After I landed on my flight, I received an email from them telling me they were canceling my reservation with fox. It was 12am and there was nothing I could do.
I was stranded with my two young kids. It has been 4 days and they have still not returned my precharged cost. Awful experience. I feel they should compensate me for the time and energy they made me waste. The person who help us was friendly and helpful. Aside from the price and I did get a great deal. This rental experience was perfect. Price was the most affordable compared to competitors. Staff was friendly. No complaints. The employees were very pushy about me adding insurance and made me very uncomfortable renting a car in Seattle.

There was quite a few people waiting in line and the Enterprise clerk in the front desk mentioned a few times they don't have enough cars available so people were antsy. When I returned the car, they were closed so I dropped the keys in the lock box.
Following Monday they sent my e-receipt and charged me 4 gallons of gas at a ridiculous price! How can I be 4 gallons short, they just want to rip off people. Stress free from beginning to the end. Renting in one city and returning in totally different state that what I wanted and Enterprise provided Thanks. Will use them again.

I was so happy with the smaller midsize. The gas mileage was amazing. About mpg. Clean and smooth drive. Staff and drop off and pick up were very friendly. This location is not convenient to renter. The difficulty begins with locating the facility in a not so clean , downtown parking garage on an upper floor.
It took awhile to process and receive the vehicle. Once we completed our rental and found the intake entrance there are so many one way streets the process was quick and easy. We like working with Enterprise, however this rental was not up to there standard.
We set our pick up date at 3pm. They confirmed the pick-up by phone but the pick up office was closed at 3pm so we were stranded. Enterprise was unable to find us a car at a location that was open and we are forced to spend the night near Hotel at the Airport. They did not compensate us and they didn't seem sorry. In fact the next day when I went to pick up the car they claimed they had rented it because I didn't show up.
Then they try to rent me a more expensive car. I will not rent from them again and I hope you don't either. Upon arrival, we received a phone message that they did not have this SUV available and when we tried to reach them they were closed. They closed at noon and were also closed the next day. No ride. We called the number and were told that another Seattle location would honor our reservation. At the airport Enterprise the line was a 3 hour wait. No kidding. A manager tried to help us and told us to return in the evening and he would have a SUV available.
Another manager was working and said - no deal. Very disappointing Enterprise! You are definitely taking advantage of the car shortage, but your customers will remember their treatment and not be using you in the future. Set up for wrong pick up location so unable to get vehicle! Had to scramble to get something! Sixt reviews. Experience was great, just ask to inspect the car before you pick up the keys.
I noticed some minor cosmetic issues after I drove off with the car. The lady that helped me was extremely nice from picking up the car and even dropping off we ran into her in the streets. She was super accommodating even though the car I selected was not in the lot. She assured me that it was going to be a similar car and I was able to choose from a couple. We bonded super well and I loved my experience because of the customer service I had received from her.
While we were thrilled to be given a complimentary upgrade, the vehicle we were given, the Volkswagen Atlas, did not have U. This was no disclosed to us up front, otherwise we would have declined the upgrade.
As a result, I don't think we'll ever rent again from Sixt. Everything worked like it's supposed to! They told us this vehicle was good for three adults. My head hit the roof every time. I had the car 14 days and they charged me for Furthermore they refuse to issue a refund. If at all possible will avoid Sixt in the future. All car rentals are crazy expensive right now, but Sixt was very kind when I needed to adjust my dates and the upgrade I got was over the top.
The humans I dealt with were lovely too! We were downgraded from intermediate suv to an economy sedan. There was no recourse as Sixt agent blamed Kayak.
